Zehntech Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Zehntech Order Tracking App (“the App”) to help Shopify merchants provide real-time order tracking, shipment updates, and delivery insights to their customers.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information while you use our Shopify app.
1. Information We Collect
a. Shop Information
- Store name and domain
- Shopify store ID
- Store email
- Access scopes granted during installation
b. Order & Fulfillment Information
- Order numbers and IDs
- Shipping address (for tracking accuracy only)
- Tracking numbers, carrier names, shipment URLs
- Fulfillment & delivery timestamps
- Status updates (In Transit, Delivered, etc.)
c. Tracking Page Analytics
- Tracking page visits
- Order/email lookup actions
- API usage logs
No personal customer data is stored.
d. App Configuration Data
- Tracking page design settings
- Theme App Embed activation state
- Custom text, labels, and branding fields
e. Checkout UI Extension Data
- Order ID and basic order details
- Fulfillment events required to build the tracking timeline
- Status changes shown on Checkout Thank You or Order Status page
The App does not store full checkout form data, payment information, or sensitive personal data.
f. Legacy Customer Account Order Data
- Order ID and order date
- Fulfillment and tracking status
- Shipment events for timeline rendering
This data is used only to display tracking on /account/orders legacy order pages and is not stored permanently.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide real-time shipment tracking updates
- Create an order timeline (Ordered → Delivered)
- Show tracking on Checkout UI Extension pages
- Inject tracking widget on legacy customer account pages
- Display delivery analytics in the merchant dashboard
- Offer support and improve app performance
We never use your data for advertising, resale, or customer profiling.
3. Data Retention
All shop and tracking-related data is deleted automatically within 48 hours of uninstalling the app. Temporary cache is cleared frequently.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent any merchant or customer data. Limited data may be shared with trusted infrastructure providers such as:
- AWS / Cloudflare / Vercel (hosting & CDN)
- Shopify APIs for order and fulfillment data
5. Data Security
- HTTPS encrypted communication
- OAuth authentication with Shopify
- Secure API tokens with role-based access
- Firewall and threat monitoring
6. Your Rights
You may access, modify, or delete app-related data anytime. Uninstalling the app triggers automatic data deletion. To request changes, contact us at hello@zehntech.com.
7. Third-Party Services
The App interacts with Shopify APIs. Your Shopify usage is governed by Shopify’s Privacy Policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or Shopify API changes. The updated version will show a revised “Effective Date.”
